24 Hour Film Dash 2010

Orange Media’s entry in the Cinesol 24 Hour Film Dash 2010 competition was Ecstasy of Gold 2, a tongue-in-cheek action/drama starring Ivan Buenrostro, Gaby Gutierrez and Monica Ruiz with George Magee and Alyssa Salas. First time film race director Jason R. Johnston was at the helm with Erick Trevino and Edward Cordero producing, Rob Liendo behind the camera, Gabriel Ramirez on editing and Bertha Gonzalez on staff writing.

The ten-minute short film was completed in twenty-four hours between May First and Second adhering to special requirements that needed to be included in the show. At last night’s results ceremony, Monica Ruiz earned Best Actress for her work. Congratulations to all the teams of this year’s Film Dash competition, we’re looking forward to presenting at the 36 Hour Film Race in October.
